Renault Logan earns highest score in the compact entry sedan segment according to J.D. Power’s ‘VOSS Brazil 2014’

Approximately 9,000 new vehicle owners surveyed.
Renault model scored 726 points out of 1,000

The Renault Logan earned the highest score in the compact entry segment for the second straight year in J.D. Power’s Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS Brazil 2014). Made in São José dos Pinhais (Paraná), the sedan scored 729 points out of 1,000.
In its fourth edition in Brazil, the VOSS is an annual study to examine the new-vehicle ownership experience (12 to 36 months after purchase) across four measures of satisfaction. In order of importance, they are ownership costs-including fuel consumption, insurance and maintenance/repair (42%); service satisfaction (23%); vehicle appeal-including performance, design, comfort and features (19%); and vehicle quality/reliability (16%). Approximately 9,000 new-vehicle owners were interviewed.
Overall ownership satisfaction is reported as an index score based on a 1,000-point scale, with a higher score indicating higher satisfaction. The study was fielded from May to June 2014. The 2014 Brazil VOSS includes 85 vehicle models, with additional 12 models compared to the 2013 edition.
