With 7.8% of market share in April, Renault is posting a 0.1 percentage point increase on a year-over-year basis. Year-to-date April, the brand has 7% of market share, which remains stable compared to the same period last year. The Sandero stands out once again as the 4th best-selling model in Brazil, with 6,110 units. From January to April 2017, Renault has sold more than 21 thousand units of the hatchback – up 35% from same period in 2016.
The Renault Master tops the panel van segment with a weight not exceeding 3.5 tons of gross vehicle weight rating, with 350 units registered in April.
Two-tone body a success
Total billing of the Renault Captur – the all-new SUV introduced in the domestic market in mid-March – keeps pace with the total units manufactured, according to plan. The model’s design is considered one of the main reasons to purchase, while consumers have a preference for the two-tone body, which corresponds to 88% of sales.
