New Renault Sandero and Master contribute to the brand’s growth in August

Renault sees a stable growth momentum in August. Its 19,132 registrations totaled 7.4% of market share, an increase of 1 percentage point compared to July and 0.4-percentage point on a year over year basis, while the total market is down 17% by the same comparative framework.
Year-to-date August, Renault has registered 147,253 vehicles and obtained 7% of market share, up 0.7 percentage point from same period last year. The brand reports a slight decrease of 0.2% in cumulated sales, while the market is down 9.6% in the same period.
The New Sandero stands out, with 4,163 units in August, only one month after its launch and not including the complete lineup (without the Sandero Stepway and versions equipped with an automated transmission). The New Logan stays in its success track, doubling the number of registrations made last year.
In the light commercial vehicles segment, the New Master is in the spotlight, thanks to its market leadership for four consecutive months. Renault’s van won over its best market share in the segment, with 42.1%. Registrations are up 53% on a year over year basis, with 1,197 units. Year-to-date August, the model’s registrations are up 16% compared to same period last year, with 7,669 units.
