The Renault Duster Dakar II limited series is back, inspired by the world’s most respectable off-road endurance event. The Duster Dakar limited series stands out for an exclusive design and comprehensive standard equipment, not counting its renowned robustness – the Duster SUV took part in the last five editions of the famous rally raid.

The limited series can be easily recognized by the exclusive “Dakar Spirit” sticker fastened to the lower part of the doors, in addition to the Dakar emblem found just below the mirrors. The Duster Dakar II series also feature black door mirror housings.

The off-road spirit is highlighted by black and silver 16’’diamond wheels – paired with 215/65 R16 tires – without disregarding comfort. The adventurous character can be accentuated with the Outsider accessory range, which includes bumper extension and front bumper protection with additional black headlights.

On the inside, the two-tone dash takes center stage, as well as the Dakar emblems found on headrests and steering wheel, as well as the new exclusive interior trim. Duster’s outstanding roominess and taller driving position were maintained on the limited series.

The MEDIA NAV system is offered as standard to allow easy access to traffic information in real time – updated through Traffic Message Channel / TMC technology. IPhone users can also rely on the SIRI personal assistant to send messages, place calls and listen to music while keeping their hands on the wheel, thanks to the voice-command feature.

The Duster Dakar II has a comprehensive standard items list that includes air-conditioning, electro-hydraulic power steering, cruise control, parking sensors, trip computer, and fog lamps. Previously available as optional equipment, the backup camera and the cruise control with speed limiter are now offered as standard.

The Renault Duster Dakar II is available with three powertrain options: the 1.6-liter 16v SCe (120hp) engine ensures fuel economy and driving pleasure; the 2-liter 16v 2WD (148hp) with automatic transmission adds comfort in urban driving, and the highly adventurous  2-liter 16v AWD, with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear Multilink suspension. Duster’s engines have scored an “A” in INMETRO’s Brazilian Fuel Efficiency Labeling Program (PEBV).
