Renault-Nissan Alliance partners with TED Global 2014, headed for the first time to Latin America

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is partnering with TED Global 2014, an annual international conference organized in different parts of the world. This year, the event will be held at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, in Rio, from October 5 to 10.

During the days of the event, the Renault-Nissan Alliance will be showing off its all-electric vehicles – the Renault ZOE and the Nissan LEAF – on the streets of Rio de Janeiro. The Alliance is the global leader in zero emission vehicles, with more than 180 million units sold and 4 billion euros invested in the development of the technology.

TED is a US nonprofit primarily devoted to spread ideas about Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Today, conferences cover almost all topics, from science to culture.

TED Global is heading for the first time to Latin America and the Renault-Nissan Alliance is this year’s official sponsor. The theme will be “South!”, due to the booming interest observed in the southern hemisphere.
